Job summary

Amazon is hiring an IT Support Engineer I for Ops Tech Solutions in North Andover, MA. You will implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for hardware, OS, and enterprise software, troubleshooting routine issues and following SOPs as needed.

You will work with cross-functional teams to keep IT infrastructure available during production hours, manage local projects, and contribute to continuous improvement while supporting regional customers and travelers within local areas.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years professional IT experience.
2+ years troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
2+ years networking (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI model, TCP/IP).
2+ years PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation.
1+ years IT client/server/network service delivery.
Fluent in Cisco networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft.
Possess and maintain a current, valid Driver License.

Responsibilities

Network engineering and data cabling across environments.
Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
Provide analytical and technical assistance for IT solutions.
Manage local technical projects.
Maintain policies, procedures, and processes.
Identify root-causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
Move up to 49lbs; stand and walk up to 12 hours.
Support customers across multiple buildings and remote sites.
Travel within local or regional area to support customers.
