Job summary

Amazon IT Support Engineer I, Ops Tech Solutions, Budd Lake, NJ, is responsible for implementing technical solutions and providing high-quality support for hardware, OS, and enterprise software across sites in a defined geographical area.

You will troubleshoot, manage local IT projects, and work to keep infrastructure available during production hours while collaborating with management and staff to improve IT solutions.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• 2+ years of professional IT experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience in one or more IT fields including networking, Linux and Windows administration.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI model, TCP/IP).
• 2+ years PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience.
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across varied software/hardware environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems stay available during production hours.
• Provide analytical and technical assistance for IT solutions.
• Manage local technical projects.
• Create and maintain policies and processes.
• Identify root causes of operational issues and inefficiencies.
• Move up to 49lbs and stand/walk up to 12 hours.
• Support customers from multiple buildings and remote locations.
• Travel within local/regional area to support customers.
