Job summary

Amazon is seeking an IT Support Associate II to assist the operations team with technical problem resolution in Amazon operations facilities across the local region. You will handle IT equipment issues, support requests, and cross-building coverage while continuing to learn new technologies and train new hires.

The role includes standing/walking up to 12 hours, lifting up to 49 pounds, and travel within the local/regional area to support customers. Competitive benefits apply from Day 1.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
• Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
• Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
• Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
• Assisting in training new hires.
• Continuous learning of new technologies.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
