Job summary

Unknown Casino is seeking an IT Service Technician to diagnose, install, repair, and maintain PCs hardware and software. Responsibilities include desktop/laptop support, network troubleshooting, and user assistance across departments.

The role involves collaboration with system and network admins, hardware upgrades, and ensuring timely ticket closure while maintaining security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s Degree in a computer-related discipline preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in computer hardware support and maintenance.
• Must possess or acquire A+ certification within the first 12 months of employment.
• Experience with Ghost Imaging, Iseries, and Blackberry devices is a plus.
• Knowledge of XP/2003/Windows7/2008 environments (Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting) required.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and current protocols TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP and DNS required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and optimize user desktops and laptops, including hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and install/re-install cables as necessary.
• Provide basic network administration support including user accounts management and passwords.
• Assist with rollout of system hardware and software upgrades and patches.
• Liaise with end users and staff on computer operation and other issues; provide training as needed.
• Coordinate with System/Network admins to ensure efficient desktop computing operations.
• Manage tickets to closure; keep work area organized; perform admin tasks per policy.
• Handle replacement spares via RMA programs to maximize hardware availability.
