Job summary

Delaware Park Casino & Racing is seeking an IT Support Specialist to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues and escalate complex problems as needed.

You will support desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other end-user technology, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting; manage user accounts and document tickets in the system. This on-site role requires reliability and flexibility across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have access to reliable transportation; this position is on site only.
• 1–2 years IT support or related experience preferred.
• Background check and Delaware Lottery licensing required.
• Must wear uniform provided by Delaware Park.
• Must be able to stand for a full 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Work across the property in environments with varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Responds to IT service requests and support calls, troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues, or escalating to appropriate IT personnel.
• Provides support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other end-user technology, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Handles routine user account administration, including setup, access changes, and password resets.
• Installs and supports standard software and applications.
• Documents service requests, troubleshooting performed, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system.
• Sets up and deploys technology for new and existing users.
• Performs routine operational and system support tasks, including reports and backups.
• Maintains IT equipment and inventory.
