Job summary

188 Tejon Gaming Authority is seeking an IT Service Technician to diagnose, install, repair and maintain PCs, both hardware and software. You will support desktops and laptops, troubleshoot networks, manage user accounts, and assist with upgrades and patches across the organization.

The role requires hands-on hardware experience, A+ certification within 12 months, and strong communication to support staff and guests in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hardware support experience.
• Must possess or acquire A+ certification within 12 months.
• Experience with XP/2003/Windows7/2008 environments and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and Active Directory.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and optimize desktops/laptops (hardware and software).
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and manage cable installations as needed.
• Provide user account maintenance and password management.
• Assist in system hardware/software upgrades and patches rollout.
• Liaise with staff and end users; train on computer operations.
