Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon is seeking a Technology Service Technician to join the Information Technology team. Under the IT Service Technician Manager you will diagnose, install, repair and maintain desktops, laptops, and related software, while supporting network access and user accounts.

You will participate in hardware and software upgrades, train end users, and work with System and Network Administrators to ensure a stable desktop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• An Associate’s Degree in a computer-related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in computer hardware support and maintenance.
• Must possess or acquire A+ certification within 12 months.
• Experience with Ghost Imaging, Iseries and Blackberry devices is a plus.
• Experience with PC and peripheral care and maintenance.
• Technical knowledge of XP/2003/Windows7/2008 environments required.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and TCP/IP, WINS, DHCP and DNS required.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot and optimize user desktops and laptops.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and install/re-install cabling.
• Provide basic network administration support including user account maintenance.
• Assist with system hardware and software upgrades and patches.
• Train and support end users and staff on computer operation.
• Collaborate with System and Network admins for desktop environment operations.
• Manage tickets and ensure requests are closed in the ticketing system.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with policy tasks.
