Job summary

Agrilife is seeking an IT Professional II to provide technical support and leadership across a statewide AgriLife IT environment. The role includes troubleshooting hardware, software, and systems, developing documentation, and coordinating with vendor support.

Travel to offices statewide may be required to meet service needs. The successful candidate will have an Associate's degree or equivalent, 1 year of IT experience, and strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year of related IT experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and related productivity technologies.
• Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate independently with limited onsite supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and problem resolution for hardware, software, and applications.
• Document service requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Analyze and prioritize multiple support activities and service demands.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge resources.
• Coordinate with vendor technical support for hardware and software issues.
• Install, upgrade, and administer workstations and software; provide on-site or remote support.
• Lead or participate in technical activities and project reporting when needed.
• Ensure data security and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to staff as needed.
• Travel as required to meet service needs.
