Job summary

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in College Station is seeking an IT Professional II to provide technical support, analysis, and problem resolution across a statewide AgriLife IT environment. The role serves as a primary technical resource, delivering services through a mix of onsite and remote support.

The position requires an Associate's degree or equivalent, at least one year of IT experience, and strong skills in Microsoft 365, troubleshooting, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year of related IT experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and related productivity technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve problems.
• Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to operate independently with limited onsite supervision.
• Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple technical demands.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Manage and facilitate resolution of complex technical requests.
• Document service requests and resolutions in ticketing systems.
• Analyze, prioritize, and manage multiple concurrent support activities.
• Develop, maintain, and improve technical documentation and procedures.
• Coordinate or serve as a technical resource for others in resolving issues.
• Provide advanced technical support for multiple offices remotely or onsite.
• Install, upgrade, maintain, configure workstations and software.
• Lead or participate in technical activities and provide progress reporting.
