Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to support multiple customers in the NJ/Philadelphia PA area. The role covers server and cloud environments, networking, and a range of enterprise technologies.

Responsibilities include server administration across Windows, Linux, and Unix, cloud platforms like AWS and Azure, VMware virtualization, and ongoing system monitoring with SolarWinds and DataDog. Strong scripting and security practices are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
CCNA/CCNP ITIL certifications are preferred.
Experience in multisite enterprise environments with complex networks.

Responsibilities

Server Administration: manage Windows, Linux, and Unix environments for optimal performance.
Cloud Operations: administer AWS, Azure, and O365 for enterprise workloads and containerization.
Virtualization: maintain VMware-based environments for scalable and available infrastructure.
System Monitoring: use SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure network reliability.
Incident Management: lead network incident resolution and meet SLAs.
Security Best Practices: implement secure networking across on‑prem and cloud.
Documentation: create comprehensive network topology and troubleshooting guides.
