Job summary
Blue Mantis is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to support customers in the NJ/Philadelphia area. You will manage Windows, Linux, and Unix servers, cloud platforms, and virtualization to ensure reliable enterprise workloads. Strong emphasis on security, monitoring, and incident response will be required for 24x7 operations.
The role involves hands-on administration, documentation, and collaboration with multiple teams to meet SLAs in a dynamic network environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- CCNA and/or CCNP ITIL certifications preferred.
- Experience in multisite enterprise environments.
- Provide game day support on major holidays when games are played.
Responsibilities
- Server administration across Windows, Linux, and Unix.
- Cloud operations with AWS, Azure, and O365.
- VMware virtualization management and troubleshooting.
- System monitoring with SolarWinds and DataDog.
- Incident management and SLA adherence.
- Implement security best practices for on-prem and cloud.
- Maintain detailed network topology and runbooks.
