Job summary

Blue Mantis is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to support multiple NJ/Philadelphia area customers. The role focuses on server and cloud environments, networking, and proactive system administration across Windows, Linux, Unix, and VMware platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Cisco gear, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/O365), and monitoring tools like SolarWinds and DataDog. Onsite work in Mt Laurel NJ area with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• CCNA/CCNP ITIL or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Experience in a multisite enterprise environment.
• Strong problem-solving and incident management skills.

Responsibilities

• Server Administration: Manage Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Cloud Operations: Administer AWS, Azure, and O365 for enterprise workloads.
• Virtualization: Manage VMware environments for scalable, available infra.
• System Monitoring: Use SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure reliability.
• Incident Management: Lead resolution with SLA adherence.
• Security Best Practices: Implement secure networking for on-prem and cloud.
• Documentation: Create topology maps and troubleshooting procedures.
