Blue Mantis is looking to hire an IT Operations Engineer to support multiple customers in the New York City area. The role requires proficiency in server and cloud environments, networking, and a willingness to manage diverse technologies for large enterprise networks.

The engineer will administer Windows, Linux, Unix, AWS, Azure, O365, VMware, and containerization, with a focus on reliability, security, documentation, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• CCNA, CCNP (or equivalent) ITIL and technical certifications in servers and/ or cloud (preferred).
• Experience in complex multisite environments.

Responsibilities

• Server Administration: Manage Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Cloud Operations: Administer AWS, Azure, and O365 for enterprise workloads and containerization.
• Virtualization: Manage VMware-based environments for scalable, available infrastructure.
• System Monitoring: Use SolarWinds and DataDog to ensure network reliability.
• Incident Management: Lead network-related incident resolution and SLAs.
