Blue Mantis is hiring an IT Operations Engineer to support multiple customers in the NJ/Philadelphia area. You will manage server and cloud environments, handle networking, and ensure reliability across enterprise networks.

The role requires strong Windows/Linux/Unix administration, cloud and virtualization experience, and a proactive approach to incident management and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong administration of Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, O365) and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with backup and DR solutions (Rubrik, Zerto).
• Hands-on with networking gear, firewalls, DNS, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Server Administration: Manage Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
• Cloud Operations: Administer AWS, Azure, and O365 workloads.
• Virtualization: Manage VMware and containerization for scalable infra.
• System Monitoring: Use SolarWinds and DataDog for reliability.
• Incident Management: Lead network-related incident resolution and SLA adherence.
• Security Best Practices: Implement secure networking in on‑prem and cloud.
• Documentation: Maintain topology maps and troubleshooting procedures.
