Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Senior Associate to join its M&A and Performance Improvement practice within Private Equity. You will lead workstreams, develop client deliverables, and drive cross-functional collaboration across integration, carve-out, and performance improvement engagements.

The role offers significant client interaction, rapid development, leadership opportunities, and exposure to high-profile transactions shaping the professional services industry. Travel at least 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development.
• MBA preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Identify key client business issues and oversee workstreams across engagements.
• Develop client deliverables with strong analytical support and create actionable recommendations.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and coach junior team members.
• Maintain and deliver integration, carve-out, and performance improvement models and trackers.
• Ensure executive-ready quality and clear communication with clients.
