Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, seeks an entry to mid-level IT Support Specialist to join our Heber City team. This role provides Tier 1 technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues affecting employees.

You will troubleshoot Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and network problems, assist with onboarding and training, and help enforce IT policies while delivering responsive, customer-focused service in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; A+ or Network+ preferred
• 1–2 years experience in a help desk or technical support role
• Working knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and common business apps
• Familiarity with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and remote support tools
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for end users seeking technical support.
• Provide troubleshooting for computer, software, network, printing, and mobile device issues in person, by phone, or remotely.
• Assist with user orientation training and department projects when requested.
• Assist with implementing IT policies and procedures per corporate guidelines.
• Support IT department operations and connectivity requirements.
• Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and resources.
• Troubleshoot technology issues and log all repairs and maintenance.
• Prepare and set up workstations, provide accounts, and install software.
• Assist with enforcing security policies across technology platforms
