Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer science or closely related field or equivalent certificate program.
• One year of experience directly related to job duties; or two years of related experience; or four years total training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Process work requests from campuses and District Office; clarify requests if needed and assign Information Services WorkRequests to appropriate person.
• Create and distribute reports related to work requests and technicians' schedules.
• Issue routinerecurring work orders and special work orders as needed.
• Follow up with customers, provide status updates, and refer to IT staff for technical questions.
• Monitor work in progress and document resolutions from vendors and non-Los Rios technicians.
• Assist technicians by providing information, clarification, or referrals as needed.
• Assign phone numbers District-wide and maintain phone inventory reports.
• Maintain ERM (PeopleSoft) operations documentation for district access.
• Maintain and issue telecom equipment and phones from inventory.
