Job summary

Los Rios Community College District is seeking a Staff Assistant to provide student services and information on college programs under supervision. The role involves guiding students to available resources and assisting with program requirements.

You will support coordination of calendars, prepare reports, assist with outreach and workshops, maintain confidential records, and work with faculty, staff, and community partners to serve student needs.

Qualifications

• Experience: Two years of experience related to the duties of the position.
• Education: Associate's Degree or 60 semester units (90 quarter units). It may be substituted with one additional year of qualifying experience.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize students with resources, services and programs, individually or in groups.
• Answer questions about program requirements and assist with related forms.
• Interpret program regulations or benefit requirements and help students obtain needed services.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff and community agencies to serve student needs and advertise resources.
• Record and coordinate student documentation, maintain related records, and assist with scheduling and calendars.
