Job summary

Kirby Risk is seeking an On-Site IT Hardware/Software Support specialist in Indianapolis, IN. You’ll be the front line for technical support, helping teammates stay productive and connected while maintaining devices, network equipment, and software tools.

You will troubleshoot Microsoft Office and Epicor Eclipse, document requests, and collaborate with IT colleagues and vendors to implement effective solutions. A customer-first mindset and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 1–2+ years of IT support or help desk experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Certification in CompTIA A+.
• Solid troubleshooting across hardware and software.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to support users at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, remote tools, and ticketing systems.
• Support and maintain devices and infrastructure to ensure reliable daily operations.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Office and Epicor Eclipse systems for users.
• Track, document, and manage support requests in the ticketing system.
• Collaborate with IT, business units, and vendors to resolve issues and improve systems.
• Maintain knowledge base documentation and deliver responsive support.
• Adapt to changing priorities while following policies and best practices.
