Job summary

aFit Staffing, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Deskside Support Technician to install, repair, and support computer hardware and software. You will deliver Tier 1 (and possibly Tier 2) support, manage tickets, and coordinate with vendors to keep systems running smoothly in a fast-paced client environment.

Qualifications

1-3 years of technical or related experience preferred.
Experience with various versions of Microsoft operating systems.
Experience with various versions of Microsoft Office Suites.
Some experience with AD and imaging software.
Able to work in a collaborative team environment and show attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Performs computer hardware and software installations, maintenance tasks, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment.
Primarily provides Tier 1 level support; may provide Tier 2 level support as needed.
Escalates problems to higher level of support as needed to satisfy client needs.
Maintains and updates work order tickets in the client’s ITSM tool.
Coordinates across multiple departments/vendors to provide support.
Represents the client professionally and communicates effectively with customers and associates.
