Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract IT Help Desk specialist to provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals in Noblesville, IN.

You will troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business apps, document incidents, assist with deployments, and escalate complex issues as needed. This onsite role emphasizes customer service and timely incident resolution within a fast-paced enterprise environment, with standard benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT support or help desk experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 apps.
• Experience supporting printers, scanners, and other end-user hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for desktops, laptops, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Microsoft 365-related issues.
• Support Windows operating systems and common business applications.
• Document incidents, requests, and resolutions within a ticketing system.
• Assist with device deployments, equipment replacements, workstation setups, and user onboarding.
• Perform basic account support, password resets, and access-related requests.
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate support teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to knowledge base updates.
• Deliver excellent customer service while meeting service-level expectations.
