ACTS-Aviation Security, Inc. is seeking an IT Assistant / Help Desk (Entry Level) to join the IT team at the Des Plaines, IL corporate office. The role supports the IT Manager in maintaining information systems and security for the organization.

The position emphasizes practical help desk duties, access control, device deployment, and collaboration across departments to resolve technology challenges. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting help desk operations in a corporate environment.
• High school diploma required; college preferred.
• Experience with Intune MDM, AAD/AD, and MS Defender.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk support for the organization.
• Organize resources so they are easy to locate.
• Resolve customer issues with company products.
• Answer other customer questions and offer access to helpful resources.
• Direct questions to the right department when needed.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records of interactions with customers and recurring user problems.
• Assist in MDM tasks, including application deployment, device profile and deployment.
• Assist in vulnerability management.
• Assist IT Manager in development and execution of technology strategy.
• Work across the organization to identify and resolve technology challenges.
