Job summary

Interface Systems is seeking an experienced Level 3 iSOC Coordinator to lead real-time security incident management from our St. Louis office.

You will verify alarms, supervise live video/audio interactions, and coordinate responses with customers and emergency services. In this fast-paced role, you will handle escalations, de-escalations, and detailed reporting while working a 4:30pm–1am schedule with weekend/holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in customer service, call center, dispatch, or security roles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote security checks/ virtual tours of customer locations, carefully observing all areas for potential security vulnerabilities, criminal and/or unusual activities.
• Conduct virtual security escorts to safeguard customers during business opening, closing and/or upon customer request.
• Communicate with customer locations using state-of-the-art two-way audio/video surveillance technology.
• Take appropriate action based on severity or instruction, including contacting customers and/or requesting emergency services.
• Answer inbound calls to resolve, escalate, or support security and system inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in the system of record.
• Monitor, verify and respond to alarm signals, placing calls to verify validity.
• Perform video verification of alarms to confirm security breaches or emergencies.
• Notify specified individuals of alarms/events per instructions.
• Provide life safety support with dispatch and alarm communication to emergency personnel.
• Provide basic alarm support such as arming/disarming and resetting alarms.
• Manage live audio interactions during alarm events using two-way audio to communicate with monitored-site individuals.
• Use two-way audio to intervene during incidents with clear communication.
• Handle situations like loitering or trespassing, often requiring de-escalation.
• Document all interactions and follow-up to resolve incidents.
• Generate detailed reports on alarm responses and life safety interventions.
• Complete training courses as needed and comply with company policies.
