Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling development, process qualification, and validation across manufacturing operations. You will drive mold design, tooling documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure safety, quality, and performance in packaging production.

You will manage tooling projects end‑to‑end, support plant startups, and push continuous improvement to optimize efficiency and reduce scrap across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/related engineering field.
• 5–8 years of plastics packaging manufacturing or tooling engineering experience.
• Experience with ISBM tooling and vendors; mold qualification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new/rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional, visual, and performance specs.
• Develop tooling standards and coordinate with vendors on design and BOMs.
• Manage tooling project pipelines, timelines, and procurement.
