Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead ISBM tooling projects, drive process development, and ensure tooling designs meet safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and vendors to optimize equipment and processes across manufacturing sites.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in plastics tooling, strong project management, and hands-on experience with ISBM mold qualification and DOE studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years in plastics packaging, tooling or process engineering.
• Experience with ISBM tooling, mold qualification, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation activities.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs and cycle times.
• Develop and maintain tooling standards and documentation.
• Coordinate vendor quotes, BOMs, and tooling procurement.
• Support startup and production readiness at multiple sites.
