Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow Molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will drive tooling projects from concept to implementation, partner with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and Supply Chain, and champion continuous improvement of ISBM capabilities.

Formación

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience preferred.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors required.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting preferred.
• PET packaging industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience conducting process capability studies, DOE, and statistical analysis preferred.
• Experience supporting production startup and manufacturing operations strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead ISBM tooling projects from concept to implementation.
• Define tooling requirements and coordinate mold design with vendors.
• Manage tooling project timelines, BOMs, and procurement.
• Lead mold sampling, process qualification, and validation.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs and cycle times.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and improvements.
• Train plant personnel on tooling systems and processes.
• Develop standards and documentation for operations engineering.
