Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead all aspects of Blow Molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will manage tooling projects from concept to implementation, providing leadership in mold design, process optimization, and equipment validation to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of plastics packaging, process engineering, tooling engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new/replaced/rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet dimensional, visual, and performance specs at designed cycle times.
• Develop and maintain tooling standards, PMO docs, and process control sheets.
• Coordinate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and vendors to ensure tooling meets safety and quality requirements.
• Manage tooling procurement, vendor assessments, and project BOMs.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting tooling, machinery, and productivity issues.
