Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer to lead Blow Molding tooling, process development, validation, and qualification across manufacturing operations. You will coordinate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and vendors to ensure safety, quality and performance.

You will drive tooling standards, DOE studies, and process optimization while mentoring teams and supporting plant startups to improve efficiency and product quality.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Manufacturing/ Plastics Eng or related field required.
• 5–8 years of experience in plastics packaging manufacturing, process engineering, tooling engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience preferred.
• Experience with Injection Stretch Blow Molding (ISBM) tooling and vendors required.
• Experience with mold qualification, validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting preferred.
• PET packaging industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience supporting production startup and manufacturing operations preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all aspects of Blow Molding tooling, process development, validation and qualification activities.
• Interface with Product Development, R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, vendors and plant teams to meet safety and quality requirements.
• Develop tooling standards and documentation; manage tooling procurement and vendor performance.
• Lead mold sampling, process qualification and validation for new, replacement or rebuilt molds.
• Support machine startups and provide technical troubleshooting for tooling, processes and equipment.
