Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process and Tooling Engineer in the Blow Molding section to lead tooling projects, mold design, and process qualification from concept to production. You will collaborate with Product Development, R&D, Operations, and vendors to ensure safety, quality, and performance in ISBM tooling initiatives.

You will develop standards, drive best practices, and support continuous improvement across ISBM capabilities while mentoring teams and leading technical training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Manufacturing/Plastics Eng required.
• Equivalent combinations may be considered.
• Minimum 5–8 years in plastics packaging or tooling engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all mold sampling, process qualification, and validation for new/rebuilt molds.
• Optimize molding processes to meet specs and cycle times.
• Define tooling requirements and coordinate vendor design/construction.
• Manage tooling project pipelines and vendor performance.
