Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke seeks a Docketing Analyst to support IP attorneys and staff with daily, detailed docket information and deadlines. You will manage docket portfolios, including complex matters, following firm procedures and maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires strong knowledge of US and international trademark law, experience with docket software, high accuracy, and clear communication with attorneys and clients. Paralegal studies are a plus; MS Office proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; paralegal training beneficial.
• Minimum five years of IP docketing experience in Trademark.
• Strong knowledge of US and international trademark law.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort, and distribute mail from USPTO and foreign offices.
• Ensure daily docket clearance and maintain filing logs.
• Provide guidance on complex docket questions to IP team.
• Maintain accurate docket database and generate reports.
• Upload documents to PATTSY and manage e-files.
• Lead mass updates and audits of bibliographic data.
