Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Docketing Analyst to support IP attorneys by managing docket portfolios for trademark matters. You will handle daily mail routing, docket clearance, and client communications while maintaining PATTSY and related systems.

This role demands accuracy, discretion, and collaboration with the Docket team. The position requires strong IP docketing experience, attention to detail, and proficiency with docket software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or paralegal training beneficial.
• Minimum of five years of Intellectual Property docketing experience in Trademark.
• Strong experience with domestic and foreign trademark and TTAB matters.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort, and distribute mail from USPTO and other agencies.
• Ensure daily docket clearance and maintain filing logs.
• Provide guidance on complex docket-related questions to IP team.
• Maintain accurate docket database and generate reports.
• Save client and legal documents to PATTSY; upload images to matter pages.
• Process abandoned and inactive files.
• Maintain electronic global docket calendar for domestic/international filings.
• Maintain confidentiality of docket information.
• Ensure accuracy of docketing per CFR and client guidelines.
• Lead audits and mass bibliographic updates; assist with intakes as needed.
