Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP seeks a Docketing Analyst to support IP attorneys and staff with precise docket information and deadlines. You will manage assigned docket portfolios, including high-visibility matters, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to procedures.

The role requires strong docketing knowledge for US and international trademarks, accuracy in document review, and collaboration across the Docket team to meet firm goals.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; college degree or specialized training beneficial.
• Minimum of five years of progressive Intellectual Property docketing experience in Trademark.
• Strong experience with domestic and foreign trademark and TTAB matters.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort, and distribute incoming mail from USPTO and foreign agencies in a timely manner.
• Ensure daily docket clearance and maintain filing logs.
• Provide guidance on complex docket-related questions from IP team.
• Maintain an accurate docket database and generate reports.
• Save client and legal documents to PATTSY and upload images.
• Maintain and audit docketing for domestic/international patents, trademarks, and inter-parties.
