Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP seeks a Docketing Analyst to support IP attorneys and staff with daily docket information and deadlines. You will manage docket portfolios including complex matters, ensuring compliance with CFRs and firm policies, while maintaining confidentiality and effective client communication.

The role requires strong docketing experience in Trademark matters, proficiency with PATTSY/iManage, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of progressive Intellectual Property docketing experience in Trademark.
• Strong experience with domestic and foreign Trademark and TTAB matters.
• Proficient with docket software applications and IP management systems.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort, and distribute incoming mail from USPTO and foreign offices per procedures.
• Ensure daily docket clearance and maintain filing logs with accuracy.
• Provide guidance on complex docket questions to IP attorneys and staff.
• Maintain an accurate docket database and generate reports as required.
• Save client documents to PATTSY and upload to matter-level PATTSY pages.
• Lead audits and mass updates of bibliographic data as assigned.
