Job summary

Troutman Pepper Locke LLP is seeking a Docketing Analyst to manage docket portfolios for IP matters, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in communications with clients and staff. You will support attorneys and staff by maintaining dockets, processing documents, and ensuring timely filing across USPTO and international bodies.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective collaboration with all Docket team members to meet firm goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressive Intellectual Property docketing experience in Trademark.
• Strong experience with domestic and foreign trademark and TTAB matters.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort, and distribute incoming mail from the USPTO and foreign offices.
• Ensure daily docket clearance and maintain filing logs.
• Maintain accurate docket database and provide reports.
• Lead audits and mass updates as assigned.
• Maintain electronic docket calendar for domestic/international patents and trademarks.
