Job summary

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent; college degree or paralegal training beneficial.
• Minimum of five years of progressive Intellectual Property docketing experience in Trademark.
• Strong experience with domestic and foreign trademark and TTAB matters.

Responsibilities

• Read, sort, and distribute mail from USPTO and foreign entities in a timely manner.
• Ensure daily docket clearance and maintain filing logs per policies.
• Provide guidance on complex docket-related questions to IP attorneys and staff.
• Maintain an accurate docket database and generate required reports.
• Save client and legal documents to PATTSY; upload images to matter-level PATTSY page.
• Maintain an electronic global docket calendar for domestic/international matters.
• Protect confidentiality and communicate effectively with attorneys and clients.
• Lead audits and mass bibliographic data updates as assigned.
