Job summary

Metrohm USA, the North American division of Metrohm AG, is seeking a Field Service Specialist with ion chromatography expertise to support customers across Florida and portions of southern Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. Ideal base: Tampa Bay area.

You will install, calibrate, and service benchtop IC systems, troubleshoot remotely or on-site, and collaborate with Sales and Product teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences. Willingness to travel extensively is essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or closely related field.
• 2–4 years hands-on experience repairing ion chromatography or related laboratory instrumentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance for benchtop IC systems.
• Support customers on-site and remotely (phone, email, Teams).
• Partner with Process Analytics teams to support IC instruments in advanced process systems.
• Manage a dynamic schedule across a multi-state territory.
• Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
