Job summary

Metrohm USA is seeking a Field Service Specialist with ion chromatography expertise to support customers across Florida and portions of southern Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be based in the Tampa Bay area and travel as needed to service benchtop IC systems.

You will perform installations, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and refresher trainings, while collaborating with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience repairing ion chromatography or related laboratory instrumentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Strong time management and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the region.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop IC systems.
• Support customers on-site and remotely (phone, email, Teams).
• Partner with Process Analytics teams to support IC instruments in advanced process systems.
• Manage a dynamic schedule across a multi-state territory.
