Job summary

Metrohm USA, based in the North American division of Metrohm AG, seeks a Field Service Specialist with ion chromatography expertise to serve Florida and portions of southern Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. The ideal candidate will be located in the Tampa Bay area and travel frequently.

You will install, repair, calibrate and maintain benchtop IC systems, provide on-site and remote technical support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Chemistry or closely related science.
• 2–4 years hands-on experience repairing ion chromatography or similar laboratory instruments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications and preventive maintenance for benchtop IC systems.
• Support customers on-site and remotely (phone, email, Teams).
• Travel across multi-state territory and build strong customer relationships.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support and Product teams to ensure seamless service.
