Job summary

Metrohm USA is seeking a Field Service Specialist with ion chromatography expertise to support customers across Florida and portions of southern GA, AL, and SC. The ideal candidate will be based in the Tampa Bay area and travel as needed to ensure peak instrument performance.

You will perform installations, calibrations, and preventive maintenance, while providing on-site and remote support. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related science.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience repairing ion chromatography or related laboratory instrumentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Strong time management and the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance for benchtop IC systems.
• Support customers on-site and remotely (phone, email, Teams).
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support and Product teams for a seamless customer experience.
• Manage a dynamic schedule across a multi-state territory.
• Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication.
