Job summary

Metrohm USA, the North American division of Metrohm AG, is seeking a Field Service Specialist with ion chromatography expertise to cover Florida and portions of southern Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. Based in the Tampa Bay area, you will service benchtop IC systems, perform installations, repairs, calibrations, and provide refresher training to customers.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or closely related science required.
• 2–4 years hands-on experience repairing ion chromatography or related laboratory instrumentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance for benchtop IC systems.
• Support customers on-site and remotely (phone, email, Teams).
• Partner with Process Analytics teams to support IC instruments in process systems.
• Manage a dynamic schedule across a multi-state territory.
• Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
