Job summary

Metrohm USA, the North American division of Metrohm AG, is seeking a Field Service Specialist with ion chromatography expertise to serve Florida and portions of southern GA, Alabama, and SC. Based in the Tampa Bay area, you will deliver on-site and remote technical service for benchtop IC systems.

You’ll perform installations, calibrations, preventive maintenance, and trainings while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience repairing ion chromatography or related laboratory instrumentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Strong time management and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop IC systems.
• Support customers on-site and remotely via phone, email, and Teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Manage a dynamic schedule across a multi-state territory.
• Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication.
