Job summary

Alumni Ventures is seeking an Associate Community Manager to support our investor community and gain exposure to venture capital, investor relations, and fund operations. You’ll work with Investors, Managing Partners, and cross-functional teams to drive engagement, onboarding, and scalable processes.

This role blends customer success, relationship management, and financial services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer success, client services, relationship management, account management, hospitality, recruiting, operations, financial services, consulting, or another customer-facing environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through consistently.
• Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships and provide thoughtful support to customers, or other stakeholders.
• Ability to learn and effectively use new systems, tools, and business processes.
• Interest in learning about investing, venture capital, financial markets, startups, or related business topics.

Responsibilities

• Investor & Community Support: serve as day-to-day contact for prospective and existing investors and respond to questions through multiple channels.
• Investor Support & Community Operations: build relationships and deliver a high-touch, service-oriented investor journey.
• Partner Support & Operations: collaborate with Managing Partners and senior leaders on fundraising, club programs, and events.
• Data, Reporting & Process Improvement: track engagement metrics and maintain clean data in internal systems.
• Strategic Projects: participate in cross-functional initiatives and drive process improvements.
