Job summary

Alumni Ventures is seeking an Investor Relations Associate to support our investor community and gain hands-on exposure to venture capital, fund operations, and investor communications.

You will work with Managing Partners, Community Managers, and cross-functional teams on fundraising initiatives, investor engagement, and operational processes, building skills in client service and venture investing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer-facing roles such as customer success, account management, or consulting.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through.
• Interest in investing, venture capital, or startups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day contact for prospective and existing investors.
• Respond to investor questions via email, phone, webinars, events, etc.
• Provide timely, accurate, and thoughtful support using resources and playbooks.
• Help individuals navigate Alumni Ventures' offerings and community experience.
• Build relationships with investors and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver a high-touch, service-oriented investor journey across the lifecycle.
• Support onboarding and ongoing engagement efforts.
• Track engagement activity and key metrics in CRM systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and investor experience.
