Job summary

Alumni Ventures seeks an Associate Community Manager to support its investor community, gain hands-on exposure to venture capital, investor relations, and fund operations. You\'ll engage with prospective and existing investors, Managing Partners, and cross-functional teams to support fundraising, engagement activities, and operational processes.

This role sits at the intersection of customer success, relationship management, and financial services.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer success or related roles with client-facing duties.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to build relationships and provide thoughtful support.
• Willingness to learn new systems and business processes.
• Interest in investing, venture capital, startups, or finance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day contact for prospective and existing investors.
• Respond to investor questions via email, calls, webinars, events.
• Provide timely, accurate support using approved resources.
• Help investors navigate AV offerings and community experience.
• Build relationships with investors and internal stakeholders.
• Deliver high-touch customer experience across the investor journey.
• Assist with onboarding and ongoing engagement efforts.
• Collaborate with partners and senior leaders on initiatives.
• Support fundraising, fund operations, and club programs.
• Coordinate virtual events, investor meetings, and follow-ups.
• Track engagement activity and maintain data in CRM systems.
• Identify process improvements for investor experience.
