Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to uphold inventory accuracy, receiving, and compliance across store operations. The role executes receiving, inventory adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, and related reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager.

You will support BOPIS/OMNI routines, perform forklift tasks, inspect propane and safety items, and ensure daily documentation is complete and accurate.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.
• Reading, writing and counting accurately are required.
• Basic computer and math skills are expected.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve issues ethically.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work shifts and varied hours including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver on Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend, Add value.
• Deliver Legendary Service and coach Team Members while ensuring execution.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Receive Direct POs and various freight transfers; execute unloading plans.
• Stock and tag merchandise; create fill-to-capacity picklists as assigned.
• Document inventory adjustments and discrepancies per company process.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
