Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to manage receiving accuracy, inventory adjustments, reconciliation, and related compliance tasks to support store operations. The role partners with the Store Operations Manager to maintain inventory integrity and efficient processes.

Responsibilities include forklift operations, BOPIS/OMNI routines, and performing monthly inventory checks with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
• Retail or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value.
• Deliver Legendary Service and coaching to team members and ensure execution.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
• Complete BOPIS and related reconciliation reports according to standards.
• Receive Direct POs and various freight transfers, plan unloads, and stage totes.
• Stock and tag freight according to process standards.
• Create Fill to Capacity picklists for the Freight Team.
• Record daily defects and submit reports to Store Operations Manager.
• Complete safety and equipment sign-offs and hazardous waste programs.
