Job summary

Tractor Supply Company seeks an Inventory Control Specialist to oversee inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines supporting store operations. The role involves receiving, adjustments, reconciliation, transfers, buybacks/RTV, and reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager.

Successful candidate will be adaptable, service-oriented, and able to work varied shifts. Forklift operations and adherence to safety standards are essential parts of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours including nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce leadership behaviors through Customer engagement and coaching.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
• Complete BOPIS Reconciliation Report and BODFS Reconciliation Report.
• Receive Direct POs, Mixing Center freight, Bulk Center freight, and DC receiving transfers.
• Receive and key truck, execute unloading, stage totes for Freight Team Leader, and complete Loader Feedback Survey.
• Stock and tag direct vendor freight, front/sidelot DC freight, and leather footwear per standards.
• Create Fill to Capacity picklists for the Freight Team.
• Key inventory adjustments and correct discrepancies per process and direction.
• Review Negative On Hand and complete follow-up.
• Review and execute buybacks and RTV processes.
• Check ACT for assigned tasks and complete receiving, inventory, and compliance actions.
• Document daily defects, print Summary Report, and report to Store Operations Manager.
• Complete safety and compliance routines and hazardous waste disposal programs.
