Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance processes that underpin store operations. You will handle receiving, adjustments, reconciliations, transfers, buybacks/RTV, and reporting while partnering with the Store Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include daily forklift use, OMNI/BOPIS reconciliation, and adherence to safety and procedural standards.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, including nights and weekends.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover Needs, Recommend Solutions, Add Value.
• Deliver Legendary Service and leadership through customer engagement and accountability.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and use as required.
• Pull OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Receive Direct POs and DC receiving transfers and complete loading plans.
• Stock and tag freight and organize inventory according to standards.
• Prepare Fill to Capacity picklists for the Freight Team.
• Partner with Store Operations Manager on inventory control and compliance.
• Operate forklift, baler, cash register, and other equipment as needed.
