Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Lead to supervise stockroom and warehouse inventory, coordinating counts, discrepancies investigation, and process improvements. The role requires forklift and cherry picker operation, experience with WMS (Synapse preferred), and strong KPI reporting skills.

You will ensure accurate records, supervise staff, and coordinate travel to support other facilities as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required with solid warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1–2 years related experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• Working knowledge of Inventory Control practices; KPI reporting, cycle count programs, product rotation.
• PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.

Responsibilities

• Maintain layout of stockroom, warehouse, and storage areas considering turnover and item characteristics.
• Study records and recommend remedial actions for non-usable, slow moving, or excess stock.
• Review records for accuracy and compliance to determine stock levels.
• Schedule work for special and periodic inventories.
• Prepare composite reports from inventory specialists.
• Trace history of items to resolve discrepancies in inventory records.
• Issue written/oral instructions and expedite workflow with the team.
• Assign duties and examine work for accuracy and conformance to policies.
• Travel to assist other facilities as needed.
