Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years related experience in Inventory Control.
• 1–2 years in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating a forklift and cherry picker/high lift.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• Working knowledge of inventory control practices; KPI reporting and cycle count programs.
• PC literate with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Maintains layout of stockroom, warehouse, and storage areas.
• Studies records and recommends actions for excess or slow-moving stock.
• Reviews records for accuracy and stock level adequacy.
• Schedules work for periodic inventories.
• Prepares composite reports from inventory reports.
• Traces item history to resolve discrepancies and recommends remedial actions.
• Issues instructions and expedites workflow with team members.
• Assigns duties and checks work for conformance to procedures.
• Travel to assist other facilities as needed.
